Life at The Ashton Care Home
The Ashton’s in-house Activities Coordinators love nothing more than providing residents with fun-filled activities scheduled each week, as we believe it’s important to provide engaging activities that are not just enjoyable, but provide residents with the opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new skills. Activities that residents can expect include puzzle-solving, arts & crafts, games, baking and film afternoons.
We get to know our residents in order to learn everything there is to know including their likes, dislikes, strengths and abilities for us to take on board and incorporate within a resident’s care plan. We ensure that the activities and social events we offer our residents meet a majority of their interests and are completely voluntary if they decide to opt out.

We Offer Our Support For You & Your Loved Ones
Knowing when is the right time to move someone into a care home can be a difficult decision to make. It may be that you have noticed a loved one is finding it difficult to upkeep their housekeeping duties or that they are showing symptoms of memory loss which may mean that are at the early stages of Dementia. We want to make the process a little bit easier and welcome you into our home to discuss the needs of the individual.
The team at The Ashton understand that every resident will require a different level of care that’s why we always evaluate our residents prior to admission in order to establish a suitable care plan. They will then be regularly assessed to ensure the correct is always given during their stay. Our goal is for prospective residents and their loved ones to gain more knowledge about the types of care available at our care home in Leicester and feel confident with taking the next steps.
