Hinckley has excellent public transport, so getting to and from your destination within Leicestershire couldn’t be easier. Twycross Zoo is less than a 25-minute drive from The Ashton and is a great day out for all the family. In the summer months, Grange Farm offers visitors the opportunity to pick ripe seasonal fruits, which is highly recommended.

Leicester Museum & Art Gallery is a fantastic day out where residents can learn all about the fascinating collections of Ancient Egypt, Dinosaurs, Picasso Ceramics and The Attenborough Collections. 

We are also located only a 3-minute drive from the Hinckley and District Hospital, so residents can easily go between using our minibus service and have peace of mind that additional support or appointments are never far away.

How To Find Us

The Ashton Care Home is located on John Street, LE10 1UY and can easily be reached by those travelling from further afield by car, train or bus.

Visitors using public transport should take either the 148 or 158 bus (Nuneaton) from St Margaret’s stop to Factory Road stop. When you get there, you are just a 6-minute walk away from our nursing home in Leicestershire. The total journey will take around an hour.

Nuneaton is only 30 minutes from us when using public transport. Visitors can either take the 148 or 158 bus (SN St Margaret’s Bus Station) from Nuneaton bus station to Factory Road. We are only a 6-minute walk from the stop, so it is an easy and direct route for visitors to use.

There is an easy and direct route to reach us from Lutterworth in just 65 minutes by taking the 8 bus (Hinckley) from the George Street Car Park stop to Hill Street, then walking 7 minutes to our home.
