Entertainment FAQs

Pets do regularly come to visit residents at The Ashton Care Home; our Activity Coordinators often include pet Therapy within the Activity Programme, as experience has shown that a little pet therapy goes a long way with the animals never failing to bring a smile to our residents’ faces.

We love to arrange excursions and day trips for our residents, on a regular basis. Our Activities Programme offers the opportunity to enjoy the local community in a variety of different ways. From visiting the Garden Centre, Twycross Zoo or our closest church, there are a number of ways in which residents can get involved with the local community.

Entertainers love to visit us here at The Ashton Care Home and perform for their enthusiastic audience; from dancers to singers and musicians, residents find great joy in watching a variety of performances. They have regular opportunities to watch performances from the comfort of their own home.

A number of our activities are designed to be inclusive of not only residents, but their loved ones also. We encourage residents to invite their friends and family to join in with us, from the Arts & Crafts sessions to enjoying a singer performer at the summer fete, everyone is welcome.
