Respite Care in Leicestershire

The Ashton Care Home is a private and luxurious care facility located in the charming market town of Hinckley, Leicestershire. Our facility has 72 en-suite bedrooms and offers leading Respite, Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care.

All of our types of care are administered by a qualified and committed team of professionals who will continue to provide care around-the-clock, seven days a week. Our house, which is situated on a residential street, radiates a welcoming atmosphere thanks to a dedicated team of caregivers and a beautiful interior design.

What is Respite Care?

When it comes to giving caregivers and those individuals who are recovering from injuries away from their normal routines, there’s no denying that Respite Care is the best option. Often, the caregiver role is filled in by a friend or a loved one. This can sometimes make it difficult to separate one’s personal life from one’s professional life, making it even harder to create necessary boundaries in order to take time for oneself. Respite Care works in a way that allows caregivers to have a short break where they don’t have to worry about looking after their dependent, as the teams here at The Ashton already have it under control.

Respite Care is also a fantastic option for those who have recently undergone an injury and are struggling to carry out their usual day-to-day activities without additional support. Specialist care for older people who are facing adversity is so important, and being able to give them the personal care they deserve in our purpose-built care home is so fulfilling for each and every member of our residential home care team. We at The Ashton can provide ongoing assistance and support to those who are recovering by giving them access to all of the facilities while they get back on their feet. We want to give all of our residents the reassurance that help will always be given to them, as and when they need it.

Respite Care at The Ashton

Respite care can last anywhere from a minimum of a few weeks to a few months. No matter how long you choose to stay with us at The Ashton, you will always receive a high level of care that is completely centred around you and your own personal needs. We always complete a pre-admission examination and assessment to make sure we can properly address your needs before you move into our home. In order to provide the greatest care and services for each and every one of our residents, we then create a personalised care plan for each resident.

Depending on how each resident progresses throughout their stay with us, this care plan is always subject to change to ensure our residents are getting the very most out of their stay. We at The Ashton are aware of how difficult it can be to decide whether or not to move into a care home. Therefore, we also encourage potential residents to try out our Respite Care for a brief period of time to see if life in our care home suits them. We are thrilled to be able to provide our Respite Care services as a vital component when it comes to assisting caregivers and recovering individuals. We want them to enjoy a short break in our warm, cosy, and supportive home.

Providing Support Always

When it comes to the well being and care needs of our loved ones, deciding on the best care services and whether to move them to a Leicester care home can be a daunting task. At The Ashton, we understand the challenges families face during this time and we aim to make the process as stress-free as possible. We welcome you to our care home to discuss the care requirements of your loved one and to provide you with all the necessary information to make an informed decision.

Our highly skilled team recognises that every resident has unique care needs, which is why we evaluate each resident after admission to develop a personalised care plan. We believe it’s important for prospective residents and their families to have a clear understanding of the care types available so that they can feel confident in their decision-making process. We are proud to be regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Care Quality Commission an independent body that assesses all health and social care services in England to ensure they meet a high level of care. At The Ashton, we are committed to providing the best care possible.
