Celebrating The Opening of Our Nursing Community

We are thrilled to announce that our nursing care floor has officially reopened following an extensive refurbishment. This moment marks the further improvement of a much-valued care service that has been part of local life for many years, offering the reassurance of professional support close to home.
For the past three years, 24 nursing bedrooms within our home have been contracted to support the local hospital. These rooms have now been beautifully refurbished and are once again available to older people in the community who require dedicated nursing support. Our team at The Ashton are proud to welcome residents back into a space that has been thoughtfully redesigned with both comfort and care in mind.
The refurbished floor now provides a modern and inviting environment that feels safe and homely. We have updated several areas of our home, including the bedrooms, communal areas and general accessibility to ensure our residents can move around with greater ease. The updated clinical facilities allow the nursing team to continue delivering high-quality, 24-hour care for those living with more complex health needs.

At The Ashton, we are already well known in Hinckley for our friendly atmosphere and strong community links. Our new nursing floor is led by qualified nurses who are supported by a compassionate care team and take great pride in providing person-centred support. Our residents benefit from individual care plans, home-cooked meals, meaningful daily activities and a focus on well-being and comfort from the moment they move in.
Our manager, Preet Hundaln, said: “We are delighted to reopen our refurbished nursing care floor at The Ashton. The refurbishment reflects our commitment to providing a high-quality, supportive environment for residents with nursing needs, and we are pleased to once again welcome residents and families from the Hinckley and wider community.”
The reopening of the nursing community highlights our ongoing dedication to meeting the changing needs of older adults. We are now welcoming enquiries and encourage families to arrange a visit, meet our team and see the newly refurbished nursing floor for themselves.
