The Ashton Pet Gallery

It's not always possible to have pets and animals visit the home, however, there are occasions when a family member of a resident or a staff member will bring their pet with them much to the delight of our residents.

We have decided to put together a 'The Ashton Pet Gallery', which will be a collection of residents, their families and staff pets all put into one booklet for all the residents to browse through and enjoy during their downtime. There will be a copy in each resident's room. Two much-beloved pets that will be first to be featured will be Rosie and Dolly.

Animals can often spark positive emotions with residents, especially if it's a pet they've known and loved for years. We are always looking for ways in which we can improve residents' well-being and we hope this book will be a well-loved addition to their rooms.

If you are interested in finding out more about the activities or services we offer at The Ashton or would like to book a home visit with our home manager, please get in touch with a member of the team who will be happy to assist you.
